Our Therapists
Rebecca Parthun
Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Director
We all face challenges at times, and seeking support is a courageous first step toward healing. I believe everyone has the strength to overcome what’s holding them back and move toward a more fulfilling life.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and personalized. I create a safe space for clients to explore their struggles, build resilience, and work through the emotional or psychological barriers impacting their well-being.
Because each person’s journey is unique, I take a holistic and flexible approach, drawing from a variety of therapeutic methods to meet your individual needs. I have specialized training in Perinatal Mental Health and am a certified trauma professional.
While I can’t solve your problems for you, I can offer tools, guidance, and encouragement as you do the work of healing. My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and ready to live a more connected, meaningful life.

Holli Sokolick
Resident in Counseling, Managing Director
I take a trauma-informed, compassionate approach to therapy, creating a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I believe in your capacity to heal and grow, and I work with you to identify your strengths and move toward meaningful change.
My style is flexible and personalized, drawing from approaches like Person-Centered Counseling, CBT, EMDR, and ACT. I focus on empathy, collaboration, and helping you feel truly heard.
In our first session, we’ll talk about your goals, clarify what matters most to you, and begin shaping a path forward. It’s an honor to hold space for your story and be part of your healing journey.

Resident in Counseling (coming soon)
Yvette Ghormley
Healing begins with being truly seen and heard. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and understood. As a counselor in training, I draw from CBT, EMDR, and other trauma-focused, evidence-based approaches while honoring your personal and spiritual values.
With over twenty years as a doctoral-level researcher in medical and higher education settings, I bring a blend of compassionate understanding and analytical clarity to therapy. I’m skilled at recognizing patterns, uncovering root causes, and helping clients build practical strategies for emotional resilience. My work is also shaped by years of supporting veterans, first responders, trauma survivors, and people moving through major life transitions.
Now completing my clinical training to become a Resident in Counseling in Virginia, I blend research expertise, clinical skill, and genuine compassion to support lasting transformation.
Together, we’ll work toward rediscovering your strengths, rebuilding trust in yourself, and creating a life that feels aligned, grounded, and whole.
“Being able to feel safe with other people is probably the single most important aspect of mental health; safe connections are fundamental to meaningful and satisfying lives.”
