Insurance & Therapy Costs

Therapy Should Be Accessible

We believe finding quality mental health care should be straightforward. We are in-network with many major insurance plans, making therapy more affordable for many clients. If you have questions about your coverage or expected costs, we're happy to help.

In-Network Insurance Plans

(Commercial & Medicaid):

Sentara

Anthem BCBS

United Healthcare

Optum

If you're using insurance, your cost will typically be your copay, coinsurance, or a higher amount if you have a deductible remaining for mental health.

Because every insurance plan is different (and we know it can be confusing), we'll verify your benefits before your first appointment so you have a better understanding of your expected cost.

Please note that interns and couple’s counseling are self-pay only.

Self-Pay Rates:

Licensed Clinicians: $200 per session

Residents in Counseling: $100 per session

Interns: $45 per session

Couples Counseling: $150 per session

Financial Concerns?

We believe cost should not be the only barrier to receiving therapy. Limited sliding-scale appointments may be available based on financial need. If cost is a concern, please reach out—we're happy to discuss available options.
